The price range to install hardwood flooring is from $6 to $20+, depending on the type of hardwood you select. Other factors play into the price, such as the size and shape of the floor, underlayment material, and method of installation.
Hardwood flooring comes in two main types, solid wood and engineered wood. Solid wood is exactly as it sounds, the entire thickness of the wood plan is made of a single solid piece of wood. Engineered wood on the other had is made of a solid wood top layer sitting on top of layers of solid wood and plywood.
